JUST IN: ASUU Begins Indefinite Strike in LASU, LASUED, LASUSTECH The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has reportedly commenced an indefinite strike across Lagos State University (LASU), Lagos State University of Education (LASUED), and Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) . The action follows the expiration of an ultimatum issued to the Lagos State Government over unresolved issues relating to the 2025 FGN-ASUU Agreement, salaries, allowances and lecturers’ welfare . What this means for students The strike may affect lectures, examinations, project supervision and other academic activities handled by ASUU members. However, admission processing may still continue , especially through school portals and JAMB CAPS . Candidates seeking admission into LASU, LASUED or LASUSTECH should therefore continue checking their admission status regularly. An indefinite strike has no fixed end date and will continue until ASUU suspends the action following negotiations.
